Bushscout UK is a volunteer-led Scouting bushcraft community that helps Scouts and leaders across the UK learn practical outdoor skills such as shelter building, fire lighting, campcraft, navigation and nature awareness through safe, hands-on activities and training.

David Willis is a teacher of Bushcraft and Wilderness Living Skills and a friend, with a passion for traditional outdoor living. He enjoys baking bread and cooking meals over a campfire, whittling spoons, foraging for wild foods, walking in the woods and sharing a deep appreciation of the natural world.

The KATTA UK serves as the main national non-profit organisation supporting sport throwing in the United Kingdom. It brings together regional clubs, organises major competitions such as the National Championships, and promotes high standards of safety, training and responsible throwing. Although Scouts in the UK do not throw knives, Scout leaders and members can still become members of KATTA. The organisation helps maintain high standards of training and safety for tomahawk throwing in the UK. Some Scout leaders are also members of local throwing clubs, where they can develop their skills and experience. For those involved in Scout tomahawk throwing, regular participation and continued practice are important. Range instructors are expected to throw regularly to maintain their skills, confidence and understanding of safe range procedures.
